What We Collect

The app collects and stores information you provide, including recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, and photos. This data is used solely to power core app features like recipe scanning, nutritional analysis, meal planning, and AI assistance.

How We Use Photos

Photos of recipe pages or food may be processed using automated image recognition to extract recipe text and generate AI recipe images. This processing exists only to provide app functionality — we don't use your photos for advertising, training, or any other purpose.

Cloud Sync & Sharing

If you choose to enable household sharing, your recipes and shopping lists are synced through Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This data is encrypted and controlled by Apple's privacy standards. We do not have direct access to your synced data.

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
• We do not share your recipes with third parties for marketing.
• We do not use your data to target advertising.
• We do not make misleading AI claims about what we do with your information.

Diagnostics

The app may collect basic diagnostic information (crash reports, performance metrics) to help improve stability and performance. This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you or your recipes.

Data Storage

Your recipe data is stored securely on your device. Cloud sync via iCloud is optional and always clearly communicated. You can delete your data at any time.
